skypeout...
being a new user to skype I am still amazed at how cool the service is. I am also contemplating getting rid of my landline and was exploring how much overseas calls were, using skypeout.
Less than 3 cents a minute to most countries (and all the countries I would be calling for personal reasons). Now if only the payment process worked for me I would be calling already!

I was trying to teach my mum about skype. Wud help save a good load of money on intl calls...!

yes, and i made my first skypeout calls yesterday and its great. 3 cents a minute, anywhere in the world (almost) ... cancelled all myu landline services except to receive calls and voice mail.
It is great and only $.03/ minute. It is more if you are calling a cell phone.
linda, not necessarily ... it does list whether there is a difference between landline and cell, by country. for the most part it is the same i think.
hey Alex, how's it goin? Have you checked out Vonage Skype is awesome but if you're hesitant to make the switch then you could try Vonage in the meean time. Their service similar to a traditional telco but cheaper. Lemme know what you end up doing. -Chris
i love skype now that i know how it works!
Skype certainly seems pretty nifty - although I have yet to use it yet!
